Bulgaria-based Capman Green Energy Fund has acquired a 100 percent stake in Rogozen solar plant in the country.

Capman Green Energy Fund said that it has acquired 78 shares, representing 100 percent stake of the solar plant.

It added that Rogozen solar plant has a nominal capacity of 2 MW.

No further information was provided.

Capman Green Energy Fund AD is a closed-end investment fund specialized in acquisition, management, valuation and sale of bonds and shares in Bulgarian and foreign companies in the field of renewable energy.

According to the study commissioned by the European Climate Foundation, investments into solar energy in Bulgaria have stagnated for the last two years. Bulgaria had abolished the previously approved feed-in tariffs and introduced grid access fees for producers of solar and wind power.
