The biggest international Western Balkans RENEXPO Water and Energy fair will bring 2,500 experts in the field of water and energy to Belgrade, from April 25 to 27.

Over 100 exhibitors from 20 countries will participate at the fair. Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Macedonia will be presented at exhibits and conferences.

“RENEXPO in Belgrade this year is again mainly international platform which helps to establish new partnerships in the energy and water sector between experts coming from Western Balkans and Europe. International means that 65 percent of our exhibitors and 20 percent of our visitors will come from abroad,” said Johann Georg Röhm, Director of REECO Serbia, the company that organizes the fair.

Hydro power, wind power, biomass, biogas, PV, waste treatment, wastewater, drinking water and protection from floods are in the focus of the event and its conferences, round tables, seminars and other programs.

B2B meetings will be organized between investors from all over Europe and owners of over 100 investment projects. The meetings can be scheduled by sending an email to milankovic@reeco.rs.

International conferences on biogas and bioenergy in the Western Balkans are scheduled for the first day of RENEXPO Water and Energy fair. As stated in the invitation, bioenergy makes up to 65 percent of total energy produced from renewable sources in the Western Balkans. There will also be seminars and exhibits on water, energy efficiency and e-mobility.

The second day is dedicated to water and hydro power. Conferences will be held on hydro power plants, wastewater treatment, drinking water and protection from floods, but also a round table on wind energy.

The third and final day will include two conferences on solar power, a solid waste management seminar, as well as seminars and exhibits on water, heat pumps, energy efficiency and other topics.

RENEXPO Water and Energy fair is supported by the Ministry of Mining and Energy and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Serbia, UNDP, German Embassy in Serbia and FIPA. The last RENEXPO fair on water was held in June last year while RENEXPO’s event on sustainable energy and green economy was held in April.
