State power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) has appointed a new acting general manager and a new chairman of the Supervisory Board.

To replace Miroslav Tomašević, who has served as acting general manager at EPS since March 2022, the Supervisory Board has appointed Dušan Živković, who comes from a position in Elektrodistribucija Srbije (EDS).

EDS, like EPS, is a state-owned company that acts as the distribution system operator. Until the end of 2020, EDS was an integral part of EPS.

EPS has announced that the Supervisory Board has today appointed Dušan Živković as the new acting general manager. Of note, new members of the Supervisory Board were presented a week ago.

Oluf Ulseth is the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Živković has been employed at EDS since 2021, managing the sector for metering and renewable energy sources at the distribution level. Before that, for more than 30 years, he led the sectors for investments, renewable energy sources, and the development of electrical power production at EPS.

The Supervisory Board of EPS also elected Oluf Ulseth as its chairman.

“With the appointment of the new acting general manager, we are entering the process of forming an executive board that will operationally manage the work of EPS. The new acting director is a temporary solution, and we will announce a public competition for the position of general director in the coming weeks,” said Oluf Ulseth, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
