European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) opened the Construction Supervision procurement process for the water supply project in Visoko, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Cost Estimate for the assignment of supervision is EUR 0,25 million (exclusive of VAT), and it is expected to start in Q1 2017, with an “estimated overall duration of 36 months, not including defects liability period”.

As noted on the EBRD website: “The final amount of the investment needed for the Project will be confirmed and finalized as a result of the ongoing separate Feasibility Study”.

Regarding the selection process, interested companies and groups of firms are invited to submit expressions of interest before November 4th 2016.

About the project

Water supply project in Visoko, with total investment value around EUR 6 million, will be financed by EUR 4,5 million loan from EBRD and EUR 1,5 million from an international donor.

The client for the loan is public water utility JKP Visoko d.o.o, supported by the Municipality of Visoko who approached the EBRD with a request to assess the possibility of financing the project of existing water supply network and facilities improvements and extension of the system to reach additional 3,000 households, with total population estimated at 11,000 people.
