Visoko seeks contractor for water subsystem Gračanica

An invitation for tenders was published yesterday by public utility JKP Visoko d.o.o. for the construction of water supply subsystem Gračanica. The endeavour is financed from a part of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development within the Visoko Water Supply System project. The closing date is November 4.

The contract for the facility in central Bosnia and Herzegovina includes 1.3 kilometres of water main to pumping station with nominal diameter (DN) of 180 milimetres, 0.9 kilometres of pressure pipeline with DN of 160 milimetres and 6.4 kilometres of gravity distribution pipeline, construction of pumping station and reservoir Kula Banjar. The estimated completion time is 450 days.

Tenderers need to prove they have an average annual turnover as prime contractor, defined as billing for works in progress and completed, of at least EUR 2.5 million over the last three years. The bidder shall demonstrate it has access to, or has available, liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit and other financial means sufficient to meet the construction cash flow for the contract for a period of four months, of at least EUR 400,000 equivalent, the document said.

Necessary experience as prime contractor is at least one equivalent project in the last five years, with a value of at least EUR one million. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of BAM 50,000 (EUR 25,600).
