The Ministry of Environmental Protection has invited the interested public and experts to get acquainted with the text of the draft amendments to the law on waste management and to send their comments, suggestions and proposals.

The committee on economy and finance of the Government of Serbia adopted the public consultation schedule for the draft law and said it would be held from October 14 to November 5.

The ministry will hold a public debate as a video conference or in a different way. The public will be informed about the exact time and manner of how the planned activities within the public consultation would be conducted, the ministry said.

Proposals, suggestions, initiatives and comments can be submitted to the ministry via a form on its website, by email to sekretarijat@ekologija.gov.rs or by mail to the Ministry of Environmental Protection in Belgrade, 1 Omladinskih brigada st., with the title “For public discussion on the draft law on amendments to the law on waste management.”
