Bosnia’s Tuzla to allocate EUR 184,000 to reduce air pollution

The City of Tuzla has announced a public call for the allocation of EUR 184,000 to co-finance four measures to reduce air pollution in individual residential and commercial buildings. The funds should be enough for investments in about one hundred buildings, according to the authorities’ estimation.

The same amount will be allocated for each of the planned measures – EUR 46,200.

Applicants can get grants for:

a) the procurement and installation of heat pumps

b) improvement of thermal insulation of the buildings in which the installation of a heat pump is performed,

c) procurement and installation of compact thermal substations,

d) procurement and installation of wood pellet stoves.

The City of Tuzla will also finance the costs of the energy audit of the buildings

The amount of co-financing:

a) up to 50%, not more than EUR 2,550

b) up to 50%, not more than EUR 2,550

c) up to 50%, not more than EUR 2,000

d) up to 50%, not more than EUR 1,000.

The City of Tuzla will also co-finance the costs of the energy audit of the building in the amount of up to 50% but no more than EUR 150 each. However, applicants who withdraw from the scheme will bear these costs themselves, the public call reads.

Eligible to apply are owners of all individual residential and commercial buildings in the area of ​​the City of Tuzla who have an official confirmation of the heating utility JKP Centralno grijanje that the structure cannot be connected to the district heating network.
