No environmental impact expected from SHPP project

There is no need for an environmental impact assessment study for small hydropower plant (SHPP) project Stenjevac, local authority of Despotovac said on the municipal website. The department for construction and environmental protection declared that taking planned protection measures and technical norms into account, there is no expectation of any significant negative influence.

The project for a 700 kW facility on Resava river in eastern Serbia is being developed by Kajkut Energy d. o. o.
