Ova investicija je deo napora Evropske unije da umanji zavisnost od uvoza kriti\u010dnih sirovina i postigne svoje klimatske ciljeve.<\/h2>\n<p>Kredit kojeg je EIB odobrio UP Catalystu omogu\u0107i\u0107e prelazak sa pilot-faze na industrijsku proizvodnju. Startap planira da pro\u0161iri svoje proizvodne kapacitete da odgovori na rastu\u0107u potra\u017enju za lokalno proizvedenim i cenovno konkurentnim grafitom te da oja\u010da istra\u017eiva\u010dke i razvojne aktivnosti, unapredi performanse materijala i ubrza komercijalizaciju tehnologije.<\/p>\n<p>UP Catalyst koristi jedinstvenu tehnologiju MSCC-ET. Kombinuje <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/hvatanje-emisija-co2-i-dalje-najefikasnije-resenje-za-dekarbonizaciju-industrije-cementa\/\">hvatanje ugljen-dioksida<\/a> i njegovu elektrohemijsku transformaciju unutar rastopljenih soli. Ovim procesom dobija se cenovno konkurentan, visokokvalitetan i energetski efikasan grafit i karbonske nanocevi, materijali koji se koriste u proizvodnji baterija, vojnih sredstava, boja i premaza, polimera i betona.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Grafit je za Evropsku uniju jedna od strate\u0161kih sirovina<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Grafit se nalazi na listi strate\u0161kih sirovina Evropske unije. Ima nezaobilaznu ulogu u proizvodnji baterija. Po nekim procenama, globalni deficit u snabdevanju grafitom \u0107e do 2030. dosti\u0107i gotovo 800.000 tona, a o\u010dekuje se da \u0107e Evropa \u010diniti oko 15 odsto tog manjka. UP Catalyst je poru\u010dio da pomo\u0107u svoje tehnologije mo\u017ee da pokrije do 50 odsto evropskog deficita, zahvaljuju\u0107i planiranom \u0161irenju proizvodnje.<\/p>\n<p>Kompanija je tako\u0111e potvrdila da njen grafit zadovoljava kvalitativne standarde fosilnih alternativa, \u010dime se otvara mogu\u0107nost za njegovu upotrebu kao odr\u017eive zamene u industriji skladi\u0161tenja energije i odbrambenom sektoru.<\/p>\n<p>Evropska komisija je u martu proglasila projekat firme UP Catalyst za <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/proglaseni-prvi-strateski-projekti-u-eu-za-sirovine-18-ih-je-za-litijum\/\">strate\u0161kim,<\/a> po svom Zakonu o kriti\u010dnim sirovinama (CRMA).<\/p>\n<p>\u201eJedan od na\u0161ih klju\u010dnih stubova delovanja je finansiranje inovativnih tehnologija pri \u010dijem su kori\u0161\u0107enju neto emisije na nuli i koje doprinose suzbijanju negativnog uticaja na na\u0161u klimu i \u017eivotnu sredinu, dok istovremeno ja\u010daju konkurentnost Evrope\u201c, izjavio je Tomas Estros, potpredsednik EIB-a.<\/p>\n<h3>Tehnologija hvatanja ugljen-dioksida i njegove elektrohemijske transformacije<\/h3>\n<p>Tehnologija koju je razvio UP Catalyst funkcioni\u0161e tako \u0161to se uhva\u0107eni ugljen-dioksid iz industrijskih postrojenja rastvara u rastopljenoj soli koja se koristi kao elektrolit. Zatim se putem elektrolize CO2 razla\u017ee na ugljenik, koji se talo\u017ei, i kiseonik, koji se osloba\u0111a.<\/p>\n<p>Me\u0111utim, nakon reakcije, ugljenik ostaje u elektrolitu. Elektrolit se na visokoj temperaturi filtrira, a ugljenik ostaje na filteru. Odvajanje ugljenika od rastopljene soli omogu\u0107ava njeno ponovno kori\u0161\u0107enje u procesu sinteze, \u010dime se maksimalno pove\u0107ava efikasnost procesa.<\/p>\n<p>Ceo proces se napaja lokalnog izvora kriti\u010dnih materijala za baterije i kroz podr\u0161ku ciljevima EU u postizanju ugljeni\u010dne neutralnosti kroz pretvaranje emisija CO2 u vredne sirovine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3007\" data-end=\"3450\">Uz podr\u0161ku EIB-a, UP Catalyst planira da do 2027. pro\u0161iri proizvodne kapacitete na 270 tona karbonskih nanocevi i 1.350 tona zelenog grafita godi\u0161nje, za \u0161ta \u0107e biti potrebno oko 6.000 tona CO2 godi\u0161nje.<\/p>\n<p>Do 2030. godine, kompanija planira da izgradi postrojenje koje \u0107e mo\u0107i da proizvodi 60.000 tona
