Pro\u0161li mesec bio je najtopliji jul na planeti od kada se meri temperatura, a dugotrajni i intenzivni toplotni talasi koji su pogodili delove Evrope nastavili su se tokom avgusta. U Evropi, ovaj jul je bio \u0161esti najtopliji ikada. U nekim zemljama su zabele\u017eene rekordno niske padavine, koje su nanele \u0161tetu privredama i poljoprivredi i potpomogle \u0161irenje \u0161umskih po\u017eara.<\/h2>\n

Julske temperature su u ve\u0107em delu Evrope bile za skoro 0,4 stepena Celzijusa vi\u0161e od proseka za period of 1991 do 2020, a skokovi preko 40 stepeni zabele\u017eeni su u Portugaliji, \u0160paniji, Francuskoj i Velikoj Britaniji.<\/p>\n

U Velikoj Britaniji su prvi put zabele\u017eene temperature od preko 40 stepeni, dok je Pririnejsko poluostrvo imalo neouobi\u010dajeno veliki broj dana sa maksimalnom dnevnom temperaturom vi\u0161om od 35 stepeni Celzijusa. U \u0160paniji je protekli jul bio najtopliji mesec u istoriji.<\/p>\n

Toplotni talasi u Evropi \u0107e biti sve \u010de\u0161\u0107i, intenzivniji i du\u017ei<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Generalni sekretar Svetske meteorolo\u0161ke organizacije (WMO) Petteri Taalas rekao je da ovakvi su ovakvi toplotni talasi sada normalna pojava, dok je Me\u0111uvladin panel o klimatskim promenama (IPCC) upozorio da \u0107e toplotni talasi u Evropi postajati sve \u010de\u0161\u0107i, intenzivniji i dugotrajniji.<\/p>\n
