{"id":49139,"date":"2022-06-01T21:07:43","date_gmt":"2022-06-01T19:07:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/?p=49139"},"modified":"2024-07-03T21:56:51","modified_gmt":"2024-07-03T19:56:51","slug":"mali-modularni-reaktori-stvaraju-daleko-vise-nuklearnog-otpada-nego-konvencionalni-studija","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/mali-modularni-reaktori-stvaraju-daleko-vise-nuklearnog-otpada-nego-konvencionalni-studija\/","title":{"rendered":"Mali modularni reaktori stvaraju daleko vi\u0161e nuklearnog otpada nego konvencionalni \u2013 studija"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Mali modularni reaktori, u ovom trenutku jo\u0161 eksperimentalna tehnologija, generisali bi dva do trideset puta vi\u0161e radioaktivnog otpada po jedinici energije kojeg treba zbrinuti nego konvencionalne nuklearne elektrane, otkriva studija koju su objavili Stanford i Univerzitet u Britanskoj Kolumbiji.<\/h2>\n<p>S rasplamsavanjem energetske krize i ruskim napadom na Ukrajinu koji je po\u010deo u februaru, vlade <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/amerikanci-i-slovenci-ce-saradjivati-na-gradnji-nuklearki-u-evropi\/\">vi\u0161e<\/a> evropskih zemalja su <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/francuska-se-oslanja-na-nuklearnu-energiju-i-najavljuje-izgradnju-14-reaktora\/\">po\u010dele<\/a> da <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/romania-picks-site-of-old-coal-power-plant-for-first-small-nuclear-reactor-in-europe\/\">promovi\u0161u<\/a> male modularne reaktore ili SMR-ove kao <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/srbija-ce-traziti-pravo-prece-kupovine-za-energiju-proizvedenu-iz-vetra-i-solara-na-svojoj-teritoriji\/\">re\u0161enje<\/a> za energetsku bezbednost i <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/kako-razlikovati-zeleni-vodonik-od-plavog-sivog-ili-ruzicastog-ovo-je-standard-za-zeleni-h2\/\">zadovoljavanje<\/a> potreba <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/industrija-elektrolizera-udesetostrucava-kapacitet-zbog-ciljeva-eu-za-cisti-vodonik\/\">za vodonikom.<\/a> Investitori iz tog sektora obe\u0107avaju mogu\u0107nost omasovljavanja, automatizaciju, br\u017eu i jeftiniju izgradnju i bolje sigurnosne mere.<\/p>\n<p>Trenutno je u svetu aktivna tek \u0161a\u010dica pilot-projekata za male modularne reaktore. <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/evropska-komisija-prelomila-gas-i-nuklearna-energija-medju-zelenim-investicijama\/\">Evropska unija<\/a> je ove godine zna\u010dajno pobolj\u0161ala status nuklearne energije, proglasiv\u0161i je za prelazno re\u0161enje na putu obaranja emisija gasova s efektom staklene ba\u0161te u elektroenergetskom sektoru na neutralni nivo.<\/p>\n<h3>Milenijumi produ\u017eenog rizika<\/h3>\n<p>Me\u0111utim, nova studija koju su objavili kalifornijski Stanford i Univerzitet u Britanskoj Kolumbiji pokazuje da bi mali modularni reaktori stvarali daleko vi\u0161e <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/slovenija-i-hrvatska-razgovaraju-o-gradnji-drugog-bloka-nuklearne-elektrane-krsko\/\">radioaktivnog otpada<\/a> nego konvencionalne nuklearne elektrane. Ukoliko ti nalazi budu potvr\u0111eni, to bi moglo radikalno da promeni percepciju ovog re\u0161enja, kojeg reklamiraju kao revolucionarno.<\/p>\n<p>Nuklearni reaktori su pouzdani u snabdevanju elektri\u010dnom energijom, a emisije gasova s efektom staklene ba\u0161te su im prili\u010dno niske. Radioaktivni otpad je drugo pitanje, jer mora da se izdvoji iz \u017eivotne sredine na vi\u0161e stotina hiljada godina.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Velik deo koristi od niskougljeni\u010dne proizvodnje struje u nuklearkama poni\u0161tavaju visoki tro\u0161kovi i optere\u0107enje nuklearnim otpadom<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Nuklearni sektor razvija SMR-ove, \u010dija je karakteristika kapacitet ispod 300 megavata elektri\u010dne energije. Mogu da se sastavljaju u fabrikama. Analiti\u010dari koji pokrivaju tu industriju navode da \u0107e te napredne modularne odnosno sklopive konstrukcije biti jeftinije i da \u0107e generisati manje radioaktivnih nusproizvoda nego konvencionalni reaktori velike snage.<\/p>\n<p>U novoj studiji stoji druga\u010dije. &#8222;Na\u0161i rezultati pokazuju da \u0107e ve\u0107ina re\u0161enja za konstrukciju malih modularnih reaktora zapravo pove\u0107ati koli\u010dine nuklearnog otpada kojim treba upravljati i zbrinuti ga, i to za dva do trideset puta u slu\u010daju reaktora koje smo prou\u010davali&#8220;, izjavila je glavna autorka Lindsay Krall sa Stanforda.<\/p>\n<h3>Mali modularni reaktori bi eksponencijalno pove\u0107ali nagomilavanje radioaktivnog otpada<\/h3>\n<p>Na svetu ima nekih 440 nuklearnih reaktora i oni pokrivaju deseti deo globalne proizvodnje struje. Iz komercijalnih nuklearki je do sada samo u Sjedinjenim Dr\u017eavama izneseno vi\u0161e od 88.000 tona potro\u0161enog nuklearnog goriva, uz znatne koli\u010dine manje i srednje radioaktivnog otpada.<\/p>\n<p>Najradioaktivniji otpad, kojeg uglavnom \u010dini potro\u0161eno gorivo, mora da se izoluje u geolo\u0161kim spremi\u0161tima u dubokim kopovima. SAD trenutno nemaju nikakav program razvoja takvih mesta, nakon \u0161to su decenijama tro\u0161ile milijarde dolara na lokaciju na planini Juka u Nevadi.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Neverovatno je koliko je malo studija pokrilo upravljanje tokovima nuklearnog otpada iz SMR-ova i njegovo zbrinjavanje<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8222;Jednostavne mere poput procena mase potro\u0161enog goriva ne daju dovoljan uvid u potrebu za resursima za skladi\u0161tenje, pakovanje i deponovanje potro\u0161enog goriva i drugog radioaktivnog otpada. Zapravo je neverovatno koliko je malo studija pokrilo upravljanje tokovima nuklearnog otpada iz SMR-ova i njegovo zbrinjavanje&#8220;,\u00a0izjavila je Krall, koja se sada bavi nau\u010dnim radom u \u0161vedskoj kompaniji za upravljanje nuklearnim gorivom i otpadom (SKB).<\/p>\n<p>Ona je za potrebe rada analizirala tokove nuklearnog otpada iz tipova SMR-ova koje razvijaju Toshiba, NuScale i Terrestrial Energy, prenosi <a href=\"https:\/\/news.stanford.edu\/2022\/05\/30\/small-modular-reactors-produce-high-levels-nuclear-waste\/\">Stanford News.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Potro\u0161eno gorivo nije jedini nuklearni otpad<\/h3>\n<p>Nuklearni reaktor proizvodi energiju kada neutron pocepa atom uranijuma u jezgru reaktora i dovede do osloba\u0111anja drugih neutrona, pa oni u lan\u010danoj reakciji cepaju slede\u0107e atome uranijuma. Ali neki neutroni be\u017ee iz jezgra i udaraju u materijal oko njega kao \u0161to su \u010delik i beton, izazivaju\u0107i takozvano propu\u0161tanje neutrona i \u010dine\u0107i ga radioaktivnim.<\/p>\n<p>U novoj studiji je otkriveno da zbog svoje manje veli\u010dine mali modularni reaktori trpe ve\u0107e propu\u0161tanje neutrona nego konvencionalni.<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Zaklju\u010dili smo da \u0107e mali modularni reaktori generisati barem devet puta vi\u0161e neutronski aktiviranog \u010delika nego konvencionalne elektrane. Tim radioaktivnim materijalima se mora pa\u017eljivo upravljati pre deponovanja, koje \u0107e biti skupo&#8220;, izjavio je Rodney Ewing sa Stanforda.<\/p>\n<h3>Dugoro\u010dna radijacija bi bila 50 odsto vi\u0161a<\/h3>\n<p>Studija je tako\u0111e otkrila da \u0107e SMR-ovi generisati vi\u0161e potro\u0161enog nuklearnog otpada po jedinici energije i da \u0107e biti daleko komplikovaniji za upravljanje.<\/p>\n<p>Konstrukcije nekih malih modularnih reaktora podrazumevaju upotrebu hemijski egzoti\u010dnih goriva i rashla\u0111iva\u010da, od kojih mogu nastati vrste otpada koje je te\u0161ko deponovati, navela je Allison Macfarlane s Univerziteta u Britanskoj Kolumbiji.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>NuScale Power je osporio studiju uz tvrdnju da se s njegovom tehnologijom generi\u0161e manje otpada po jedinici energije nego u velikim reaktorima<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Jedan od izazova je i dugoro\u010dna radioaktivnost potro\u0161enog nuklearnog goriva. Istra\u017eiva\u010dki tim je procenio da \u0107e posle 10.000 godina radijacija iz plutonijuma u potro\u0161enom gorivu iz tri studijska modula biti barem 50 odsto ve\u0107a nego iz plutonijuma iz konvencionalne proizvodnje.<\/p>\n<p>Diane Hughes iz kompanije NuScale Power osporila je studiju uz tvrdnju da autori koristili zastarele podatke i da se mera te kompanije za generisanje otpada bolje
