Metoda ekstrakcije litijuma iz geotermalnih voda ekolo\u0161ki je prihvatljivija od danas najzastupljenijih &#8211; ekstrakcije iz slanih pustinja ili rudnika &#8211; kod kojih postoji velika opasnost od zaga\u0111ivanja vazduha, vode i zemlji\u0161ta.<\/h2>\n<p>Kako bi iskoristile potencijal slanog jezera Stanton, SAD nameravaju da, poput <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/nemacki-projekat-u-dolini-rajne-salje-u-istoriju-prljave-tehnologije-za-dobijanje-litijuma\/\">Nema\u010dke<\/a> i <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/rekordna-koncentracija-litijuma-nadena-u-geotermalnoj-vodi-u-engleskoj\/\">Velike Britanije<\/a>, koje, tako\u0111e, imaju geotermalne vode bogate litijumom, podstakne razvoj tehnologija koje \u0107e biti isplative.<\/p>\n<p>Naravno, SAD, Nema\u010dka i Velika Britanija nameravaju da razviju nove tehnologije kako bi obezbedile domac\u0301u proizvodnju, jer se litijum najvi\u0161e proizvodi u Ju\u017enoj Americi, Australiji i Kini, gde se dobija iz slanih pustinja ili iz rudnika.<\/p>\n<p>U Srbiji kompanija Rio Tinto planira otvaranje rudnika, ali se tome protivi veliki broj gra\u0111ana i stru\u010dna javnost. U zemlji raste tenzija u vezi najavljenog projekta ove, ali i drugih kompanija koje istra\u017euju veliki broj lokacija po Srbiju u potrazi za litijumom, a zbog dono\u0161enja takozvanih &#8222;litijumskih zakona&#8220;, koji bi trebalo da olak\u0161aju sprovo\u0111enje projekata, gra\u0111ani su pro\u0161log vikenda <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/gradjani-blokirali-srbiju-kivni-zbog-litijumskih-zakona\/\">blokirali puteve \u0161irom Srbije<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Potra\u017enja za litijumom \u0107e se pove\u0107ati pet puta do 2050.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Rast potra\u017enje za litijumom posledica je dekarbonizacije transportnog i energetskog sektora zbog klimatskih promena. Baterije proizvedene od ovog metala koriste se za elektri\u010dna vozila i skladi\u0161tenje energije iz obnovljivih izvora energije, kao \u0161to su solarne elektrane i vetroparkovi.<\/p>\n<h3>Postoje\u0107e i budu\u0107e tehnologije: slane pustinje,\u00a0 rudnici i geotermalne vode<\/h3>\n<p>Dve danas <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/nemacki-projekat-u-dolini-rajne-salje-u-istoriju-prljave-tehnologije-za-dobijanje-litijuma\/\">najzastupljenije tehnologije<\/a> za dobijanje litijuma mogu se videti u Ju\u017enoj Americi i Australiji. U Ju\u017enoj Americi se ovaj metal dobija u slanim pustinjama tako \u0161to se podzemne vode ispumpavaju na povr\u0161inu i skladi\u0161te u velikim bazenima u kojima posle posle isparavanja te\u010dnosti ostaje so, koja sadr\u017ei litijum.<\/p>\n<p>Ali, problem je \u0161to se u ovom procesu tro\u0161i velika koli\u010dina vode, koja je veoma dragocena u ovom delu sveta, a postoji i moguc\u0301nost da toksi\u010dne hemikalije iz prerade zagade vodu za pic\u0301e.<\/p>\n<p>U Australiji litijum se kopa na povr\u0161inskim kopovima gde postoji opasnost od zaga\u0111enja vazduha, vode i zemlje usled velikih koli\u010dina jalovine, ali i kori\u0161\u0107enja hemikalija u preradi rude. Litijum se i u Kini naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e dobija na ovaj na\u010din.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Tehnologije koje se sada koriste mogu zagaditi vazduh, vodu i zemlji\u0161te<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Geotermalna energija, me\u0111utim, nudi potpuno druga\u010dije re\u0161enje. Naime, iz geotermalne vode koja se koristi za proizvodnju elektri\u010dne energije mo\u017ee se, posle zavr\u0161ene proizvodnje energije, vaditi litijum. Postojec\u0301e geotermalne elektrane u tom slu\u010daju mogu da budu deo infrastrukture za dobijanje litijuma.<\/p>\n<p>Ina\u010de, geotermalna energija predstavlja vrstu obnovljive energije, a geotermalne elektrane imaju veoma malo uticaj na \u017eivotnu sredinu.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Pored slanog jezera Stanton postoji desetak geotermalnih elektrana<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Geotermalna energija je prisutna u slanom jezeru Salton jer se ono nalazi iznad seizmi\u010dki aktivnog raseda San Andreas. Magma u ovom rasedu zagreva podzemnu vodu ispod dna jezera i pravi od nje geotermalnu vodu pod pritiskom koja dosti\u017ee temperaturu i do 260 stepeni Celzijusa, navodi se na sajtu ameri\u010dke Nacionalne laboratorije za obnovljivu energiju (eng. National Renewable Energy Laboratory &#8211; NREL).<\/p>\n<p>Trenutno u okolini jezera postoji desetak geotermalnih elektrana za proizvodnju elektri\u010dne energije.<\/p>\n<p>Istra\u017eiva\u010di Pat Dobson i Will Stringfellow iz nacionalne laboratorije Lawrence Berkeley, ka\u017eu da je sada izazov razviti tehnologiju za ekstrakciju litijuma iz geotermalnih voda na ekonomi\u010dan i ekolo\u0161ki prihvatljiv na\u010din.<\/p>\n<h3>Nagrada od \u010detiri miliona dolara<\/h3>\n<p>Kako bi ubrzala razvoj ove tehnologije, administracija ameri\u010dkog predsednika D\u017eoa Bajdena nedavno je obezbedila 30 miliona dolara.<\/p>\n<p>Oko \u010detiri miliona dolara bi\u0107e iskori\u0161\u0107eno za nagradu na konkursu za ameri\u010dke tehnologije izdvajanja geotermalnog litijuma (eng. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.herox.com\/GeothermalLithiumExtraction\">American-Made Geothermal Lithium Extraction Prize<\/a>), koji je pokrenula Kancelarija za geotermalne tehnologije Ministarstva energetike.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Pobedni\u010dki timovi bic\u0301e objavljeni po\u010detkom 2023.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>U\u010desnici na konkursu moraju da osmisle ideju, da je sprovedu u delo i da je testiraju. Ministarstvo je saop\u0161tilo da je cilj da se ubrza dobijanje tehnologije koja \u0107e pove\u0107ati profitabilnost dobijanja litijuma iz geotermlanih voda, i dodalo da \u0107e imena nagra\u0111enih
