Ovo otkri\u0107e i nova tehnologija za filtraciju mogli bi da podstaknu industriju geotermalne energije, koja je bez podsticaja uglavnom nekonkurentna.<\/h2>\n<p>Kompanija Geothermal Engineering Ltd. (GEL) je objavio da su rezultati nezavisnog istra\u017eivanja potvrdili da se u vodi koju koristi geotermalna elektrana i toplana u vlasni\u0161tvu ove kompanije nalazi vi\u0161e od 250 miligrama litijuma po litru i da je to svetski rekord. Me\u0111utim, treba pomenuti da je sadr\u017eina tog alkalnog metala u oblasti gornjeg toka Rajne u Nema\u010dkoj, gde se radi na sli\u010dnom projektu projektu ekstrakcije, procenjena na <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/nemacki-projekat-u-dolini-rajne-salje-u-istoriju-prljave-tehnologije-za-dobijanje-litijuma\/\">izme\u0111u 200 i 400 miligrama.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>United Downs je prva geotermalna elektrana u Velikoj Britaniji. Nalazi se u Kornvolu, na jugozapadu Engleske. GEL ima bu\u0161otinu duboku 5.275 metara, odakle crpi vodu temperature 200 stepeni Celzijusa. Budu\u0107i da je pod velikim pritiskom, ona ostaje u te\u010dnom stanju, a visoka temperatura omogu\u0107ava veliku apsorpciju minerala iz okolnih stena.<\/p>\n<h3>GEL mo\u017ee da izvu\u010de 95 odsto litijuma iz vode<\/h3>\n<p>Va\u017ean faktor je \u0161to je u fluidu niska sadr\u017eina magnezijuma, koji bi ote\u017eao proizvodnju litijuma i \u010dinio je skupljom, ka\u017eu u kompaniji. GEL navodi da s partnerima radi na metodu izvla\u010denja ovog elementa, izuzetno bitnog za proizvodnju baterija za elektri\u010dna vozila, potro\u0161a\u010dku elektroniku te ku\u0107nih i sistema za skladi\u0161tenje elektri\u010dne energije iz vetroelektrana i solarnih parkova.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Kompanija radi na projektima jo\u0161 \u010detiri postrojenja za geotermalnu energiju<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Firma sa sedi\u0161tem u Kornvolu dodaje da je dostigla stepen ekstrakcije od 95 odsto i da bi ve\u0107 2023. mogla da postigne u\u010dinak od hiljadu i po tona litijuma godi\u0161nje. Osim toga, ima planove za podizanje jo\u0161 \u010detiri pogona u istom kraju za proizvodnju elektri\u010dne i toplotne energije iz geotermalnih nalazi\u0161ta, a istakla je da \u0107e ispitati koliko litijuma ima u izvorima.<\/p>\n<p>Ukupna proizvodnja litijuma mo\u017ee da do 2026. godine dostigne 4.000 tona, tvrde u GEL-u i navode da u postupku ne bi bilo ni zaga\u0111ivanja niti ispu\u0161tanja ugljen-dioksida.<\/p>\n<h3>\u010cist izvor sirovine za baterije pred ubrzanu elektrifikaciju automobila<\/h3>\n<p>Litijum se uglavnom proizvodi u Ju\u017enoj Americi, gde se izvla\u010di iz slani\u0161ta u vidu taloga nakon \u0161to voda ispari, i u Australiji, putem eksploatacije rude. <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/rio-tinto-spremio-milijarde-za-projekat-litijuma-u-srbiji-iako-nema-ekolosku-studiju\/\">Stanovni\u0161tvo<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/drzava-nastavlja-da-izdaje-dozvole-za-istrazivanje-litijuma-protest-protiv-busotina-u-rekovcu\/\">u Srbiji<\/a> i <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/portugal-ce-otkazati-projekat-litijuma-dok-se-eu-muci-da-nabavi-sirovine-za-baterije\/\">Portugaliji<\/a> pru\u017ea otpor planovima za izgradnju podzemnih rudnika zbog mogu\u0107e \u0161tete od podzemnih rudnika i prljavih tehnologija prerade, kao i zbog raseljavanja stanovni\u0161tva.<\/p>\n<p>U Velikoj Britaniji se litijum jo\u0161 ne proizvodi. Vlada namerava da najkasnije 2030. zabrani prodaju novih automobila na benzin i dizel, a hibrida do 2035. godine. U svetu se radi i na alternativama za proizvodnju baterija, na primer <a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/rs\/natrijum-jonske-baterije-prete-da-izbace-litijum-iz-igre\/\">od natrijuma.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Proizvodnja struje iz geotermalnih izvora ima velik potencijal, jer mo\u017ee da bude konstantna, za razliku od rada vetrenja\u010da, solarnih panela i hidroelektrana, koji zavisi od vremenskih uslova. Dostupna tehnologija je zasad uglavnom neisplativa bez dr\u017eavnih subvencija, ali mogu\u0107nost dodatne proizvodnje litijuma bi mogao dati podstrek
