Kanalizaciona mre\u017ea Subotice i okoline je pro\u0161irena i sada je mogu\u0107e obezbediti pokrivenost do 60 odsto od 140.000 stanovnika. Projekat vredan 27 miliona evra za unapre\u0111ivanje vodovoda i upravljanja otpadnim vodama uklju\u010duje postrojenje za proizvodnju energije iz mulja i novu fabriku vode.<\/h2>\n

Javno komunalno preduze\u0107e Vodovod i kanalizacija iz Subotice zavr\u0161ilo je rekonstrukciju sistema i pustilo u rad fabriku vode i pogon za preradu otpadnih voda. Evropska banka za obnovu i razvoj je odobrila skoro 20 miliona evra u kreditima,<\/a> a Evropska unija<\/a> i bilateralni donatori su u okviru Investicionog okvira za Zapadni Balkan (WBIF) obezbedili grantove i tehni\u010dku podr\u0161ku vredne sedam miliona evra.<\/p>\n

Nova fabrika vode ima kapacitet od 80 litara u sekundi i rezervoar of 2.500 kubnih metara. U njoj je i jedinica za preradu mulja, a preduze\u0107e je sagradilo i postrojenje za preradu otpadnih voda. Mulj se koristi za proizvodnju energije, a u\u010dinak mo\u017ee da pokrije 40 odsto potreba za rad.<\/p>\n

Subotica je dodala 11 kilometara vodovodne mre\u017ee. Postavljeno je jo\u0161 devet kilometara kanalizacionih cevi i kolektora, \u0161to je omogu\u0107ilo da se doma\u0107instva sa vi\u0161e od 12.000 stanovnika u oblasti u kojoj je 140.000 ljudi priklju\u010di na tu mre\u017eu i da udeo poraste do 60 procenata.<\/p>\n

Neprera\u0111ene otpadne vode su ranije ispu\u0161tane u jezero Pali\u0107, jednu od najpopularnijih turisti\u010dkih destinacija u zemlji, i ugro\u017eavale stani\u0161ta biljaka i \u017eivotinja.<\/p>\n

Primer za druge gradove u Srbiji<\/h3>\n

EBRD je ukazao na procenu da se u Srbiji obradi tek 10 odsto otpadnih voda i da je samo 46 odsto stanovni\u0161tva povezano na kanalizacioni sistem. Osim toga, infrastruktura je na mnogim mestima zastarela.<\/p>\n
