Ovaj materijal nije biorazgradiv, ima kratke cikluse upotrebe i vrlo nisku stopu recikliranja, \u0161to ga \u010dini jednim od najrasprostranjenijih zaga\u0111iva\u010da na Zemlji, posebno u okeanima. Bugarski startap Biomyc, finalista ovogodi\u0161njeg clim@ takmi\u010denja za startapove u organizaciji Fonda za zeleni razvoj (GGF), nudi re\u0161enje za ovaj problem.<\/h2>\n<p>Biomyc je biotehnolo\u0161ki startap, koji koristi neiskori\u0161c\u0301eni organski otpad za stvaranje odr\u017eivih proizvoda i njihovo plasiranje na tr\u017ei\u0161te. Veza sirovina i proizvoda je \u010desto nepoznata, ali trend cirkularne ekonomije i odr\u017eivosti raste. Ekolo\u0161ki materijali su po definiciji precenjeni, a oni sa niskim cenama su obi\u010dno neodr\u017eivi i proizvode se u dalekim zemljama. Biomyc se zasniva na lokalnom izvoru materijala i proizvodnji, kratkim lancima isporuke i cirkularnosti proizvoda, uz pripremu svojih kupaca da mogu da ispo\u0161tuju propise koji \u0107e stupiti na snagu i tro\u0161kove usagla\u0161avanja u vezi sa upotrebom materijala koji nisu odr\u017eivi.<\/p>\n<p>Biomyc je tra\u017eio pogodno tr\u017ei\u0161te koje bi mu omoguc\u0301ilo brz ulazak i veliku prepoznatljivost i nai\u0161ao je na sna\u017enu potra\u017enju u za\u0161titnim pakovanjima za premijum i organske proizvode &#8211; za vinarije, prodavce premijum vina, proizvo\u0111a\u010de organske kozmetike. Ova vrsta ambala\u017ee \u0161titi proizvode tokom transporta, pru\u017eajuc\u0301i proizvo\u0111a\u010dima fantasti\u010dan marketin\u0161ki potez i ja\u010danje njihovih napora u cilju dostizanja odr\u017eivosti.<\/p>\n<h3>Re\u0161enje &#8211; pakovanja za transport od komposta<\/h3>\n<p>Biomyc razvija pakovanja od komposta za razne namene. Cilj je da se obezbedi odr\u017eivo prikupljanje sirovina iz lokalno dostupnih resursa, kao i da re\u0161enja za pakovanje budu ista ili bolja nego ona koja se dobijaju od nafte (kao stiropor, na primer). Na osnovu dosada\u0161njih iskustava sa relevantnim kupcima, kao i istra\u017eivanja i razvoja, Biomyc je uveren da c\u0301e njegova re\u0161enja za pakovanje biti konkurentna sa onim zasnovanim na nafti odnosno stiroporu, u doglednoj buduc\u0301nosti.<\/p>\n<p>Biomyc je dobio podr\u0161ku od inicijative Climate KIC, dela Evropskog instituta za inovacije i tehnologiju, Cleantech Bulgaria &#8211; vodec\u0301e konsultantske kompanije u greentech sektoru, i firme Zagorka, podru\u017enice kompanije Heineken Group.<\/p>\n<h3>Suzbijanje jednog od najrasprostranjenijih zaga\u0111iva\u010da na Zemlji<\/h3>\n<p>Proizvodnja stiropora je energetski intenzivna i stvara velike koli\u010dine gasova sa efektom staklene ba\u0161te. U osnovi nije biorazgradiv, pa su mu potrebne stotine, mo\u017eda i hiljade godina da se raspadne. Stiropor je lagan, pluta i kada se rasuri male deli\u0107e polistirena mogu da pojedu \u017eivotinje \u0161to mo\u017ee da izazove gu\u0161enje ili za\u010depljenje creva. Morske \u017eivotinje \u010desto misle da je polistiren hrana.<\/p>\n<p>Plastika predstavlja 90 odsto plutajuc\u0301eg morskog otpada. Izve\u0161taj ku\u0107e McKinsey za 2015. procenjuje da u morima ima vi\u0161e od \u00a0150 miliona tona plastike, koja poti\u010de od plasti\u010dnog otpada i koja na kraju zavr\u0161i u okeanima. Kori\u0161c\u0301enjem njegovih re\u0161enja ambala\u017ea ne postaje otpad ve\u0107 hranljiva materija, koja se vra\u0107a u zemlju ili vodu.<\/p>\n<h3>Inovacija = Inventivnost x Komercijalizacija<\/h3>\n<p>Biomyc ula\u017ee velike napore da postane vodec\u0301i dobavlja\u010d inovativnih, odr\u017eivih re\u0161enja. Zagovornici su definicije koju je osmislio profesor Bill Aulet: &#8222;Inovacija = Inventivnost x Komercijalizacija&#8220;. Su\u0161tina delovanja startapa je pru\u017eanje prakti\u010dnog, ekonomski zasnovanog napretka, u vidu odr\u017eivih re\u0161enja za akutne probleme kupaca.
